Good Home Remodeling is a locally owned, San Diego–based full-service general contractor. We handle design direction, permitting, and construction for kitchens, bathrooms, ADUs, structural changes, and the plumbing and electrical updates that come with older homes.
What makes us different is the structure: one written proposal that covers the whole scope, in-house permitting so there’s no expediter handoff, and a dedicated project manager — Ann, Sam, or Michael — on every job with direct involvement from the owner.
Bonded and fully insured. We pull permits when required, work to current San Diego code, and provide a CSLB license verification and certificate of insurance on request.

We handle San Diego city permitting in-house. It’s faster and more predictable than routing through outside expediters, and it’s built into your written proposal from day one.
Written proposals only.
No napkin math, no surprise charges. Scope, materials direction, timeline, and payment schedule — in writing, before we start. Change orders are written and approved before the work happens.
Updates from a real person.
Your dedicated PM — Ann, Sam, or Michael — gives you on-site updates throughout the build. No call-center triage between you and the work.
